SpringFest Ballarat
An annual community event held in November attracting over 35,000+ people. NLB Creative + Events are proud to manage this incredible event since 2018, set against the serene backdrop of Lake Wendouree, patrons can stroll around the six unbelievable kilometres of market stalls, events, activities and fun for all the family.
Christmas Activation
The Magic of Christmas arrived at Lucas. Helping bring the festive cheer to the community, two magical backdrops were designed and created, for the community to snap some gorgeous photos of their little ones or family. A magical story for each backdrop was introduced, allowing the children to catch a glimpse of Christmas through the activation’s.
Ballarat Begonia Parade
The Power FM Begonia Parade is a favourite for many. Held over the long weekend in March each year. With 10,000 people lining Wendouree Parade to see the colour and entertainment of local schools, businesses, community and musical groups, its a show-stopper you don’t want to miss.
The NLB team have rolled out this event since 2010 and have signed up again to continue to 2026.
Honoured in Lucas
Bringing to life the stories of the Soldiers and Nurses who served in World War I and the Lucas Girls’ who played such a vital role in creating two of Ballarat’s most distinguished historical landmarks - The nationally renowned Avenue of Honour and the Arch of Victory.
10 years of Lucas - Street Celebration
Marking a decade of development in Lucas, the community came together for a vibrant street party. Engaged by property developer Integra, to hold an event that celebrated their journey over the past 10 years. The main thoroughfare of Lucas was transformed into a hive of activity.
History ABlaze
Ballarat burned brightly during Ballarat Heritage Weekend 2019, as the streets, laneways and stories of our gorgeous city were brought to life with fire pits, fire displays and entertainment.
